IMPAC; Punta Gorda, Florida; A new campus of office and
educational buildings has experienced Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), HVAC, and general
defects in its design and construction. I combined my air conditioning expertise,
construction background in general, and my legal education to assist the owner of
this complex and their attorneys in a complicated and lengthy litigation. This effort
occupied the majority of my time between late 1997 and mid 2000.
School District of Lee County, Florida; Building envelope
& IAQ remediation. The school district in Lee County, FL, needed to address building
envelope and ventilation problems resulting in unacceptable IAQ in their schools.
To this end, I have designed building envelope remedial measures and specialized
dehumidification systems for several of their buildings. In one school, air leakage
was reduced 40%.

for reheat with recovered condenser water.
